چکیده

This paper presents an experimental approach aimed at analyzing and validating a two-scale nonlinear Finite Element (FE2) simulation of 3D composite structure. The studied material consists polyamide thermoplastic matrix, exhibiting viscoelastic-viscoplastic behavior with ductile damage, reinforced by woven glass fabric whereby inelastic anisotropic damage is considered. multiscale parallel computation founded on the periodic homogenization microscopic scale, which considers geometric description reinforcement’s architecture accounts for time-dependent non-linear local each constitutive phase. For numerical implementation macroscopic scales, advanced UMAT subroutine developed combined parallelization technique in commercial software Abaqus/Standard. multilevel achieved simultaneously both scales (microscopic macroscopic) through incremental scheme. Numerical results FE are analyzed compared obtained different stacking sequence configurations holed plate subjected to tension. Besides good agreement between predicted load–displacement global responses, strain fields reasonably agrees those measured experimentally Digital Image Correlation (DIC) technique. Furthermore, performance capabilities strategy demonstrated getting access, microstructure spatiotemporal distributions internal variables as well evolution polymer matrix reinforcement (yarns).

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

non-linear study of various slit shear walls in steel structures

seismic retrofit strategies have been developed in the past few decades following the introduction of new seismic provisions and the availability of advanced materials and methods. it can be observed that new approaches to deal with more lateral forces are more innovative and more energy absorbent. in line with this, there is a growing trend toward the use of steel shear walls as a system with ...
